How to play
Open the link on any phone. No app, no sign-up. Then choose one thing: play alone, or play together.

Choose how to play
The first screen asks one thing: Play alone (know yourself) or Play together (know each other). You can switch any time.

Light your nine lanterns
Every time you spot a type correctly, its lantern gets brighter. Three right guesses light it.
A small aim each day, a streak, and your own lantern (your type) keep you coming back. Each game ends with a line about you.

- Guess the Type: one situation, one reaction. Which type is it?
- Guess Who’s Here: mystery guests, clues one at a time.
- Same Boat 同舟: row five bends. Ah Bo tells you where you stand when things get hard.
- Ask yourself: one honest question. Your note stays on your phone.

One person starts a room
Tap Play together, type your name and pick your type if you know it. Playing on a TV or laptop? Choose Just hosting.

Friends scan the QR code with their phone camera, or open the link and tap Join with a code.
One screen: name, type (optional), Join the room. Not sure of your type? Pick Not sure yet and take the 60-second vibe check inside.

Tonight’s five lanterns
The room menu shows five games in the order a good night flows. The host taps one and every phone follows.
Each game you finish lights a lantern. The yellow line at the top always says what to do now.

Same Boat 同舟
At each of five bends, tap what you would honestly do: bow (act first), middle (people first) or stern (look first). Then guess where most of the crew will stand. A right guess wins a copper coin.
The boat tips with the crew, Ah Bo the old boatman says it straight, and one question gets you talking. At the harbour, everyone floats a river lantern with their role.

Mystery guests arrive with three clues, one at a time. Lock in early: 3 points on the first clue, 2 on the second, 1 on the last.

Talk cards and Kind Words
Talk cards: the host draws a question for one person, from Spark (warm-up) to Real (honest) to Raw (only when everyone says yes). Passing is always fine.
Kind Words: one person in the spotlight, everyone else picks or writes kind words that only that person sees.

Our Night
When all five lanterns are lit, you unlock Our Night: your night in one card, to save and share.
Tap anyone in the room to see your X-Map with them: how your two types really get along.
Good to know
- Lost? Read the yellow line at the top. It always says what to do now.
- Tap ? on any screen for quick help.
- Add to Home Screen from your browser menu and 9Vibes opens like an app.
- Phone fell asleep? Open the link again. You land back in the room.
- Nothing you write is stored on any server. Your lanterns and notes stay on your own phone.
- Made for 18+: friends, parties and flatmates.
