Type 3 · The Achiever and Type 9 · The Peacemaker. No two types are right or wrong for each other. This page shows how you may meet in ten everyday moments, with one thing to try in each. Use it to start a conversation, not to judge your relationship.
Every person is different. Read these as tendencies to talk about, not as facts about anyone.
Each line runs between two ways of doing things. The numbers show where each type often sits. Neither end is better.
Plenty to learn from each other, and a few moments to handle with extra care.
Start here: Talk about these first. They are where the two of you are furthest apart: what fun means, making decisions, plans & the future and under stress.
Try this: You open up at a similar pace. Once a week, ask one question a little deeper than usual: “What's been on your mind lately?”
Try this: Fun means different things to you. Take turns: one weekend their way, one weekend yours. Joining their kind of fun is another way of saying “I love you”.
Try this: You show love in different ways. Name the other's way out loud: “You sorted that for me. I know that's your way of saying it.”
Try this: One needs togetherness, one needs solitude. Alone time is not rejection, plan it, and plan the return.
Try this: You need the same thing to feel secure. Give it generously, it costs you little.
Try this: One decides fast, one needs time. Agree a deadline together: time to think, then a clear choice.
Try this: One plans, one flows. Plan the big things together and leave room for the small ones.
Try this: Your stress looks different. Don't read their reaction as rejection, it's their type under pressure. Ask: “What would help right now?”
Try this: One wants to talk now, the other needs space. Agree: “Give me 30 minutes, then I'll come back.” And come back.
Try this: You make up the same way. If you both move on fast, check the hurt is really gone. If you both talk long, set a time limit, and end with a hug.

In the ten moments above, a Type 3 and a Type 9 are naturally in sync in 3 moments, meet halfway in 3 moments and are marked “take care” in 4 moments. That shows you where to start talking, not how your relationship will go.
A Type 3 often feels loved when they’re valued for who they are, not for what they get done. A Type 9 often feels loved when someone asks what they want, and waits for the answer.
The biggest gaps are often in: what fun means, making decisions, plans & the future and under stress. Pick one and talk about it this week, using the “Try this” line.
Each of you can take the free love test (5–8 minutes), then open the X-Map for Couples. Your result is a starting point to reflect on, not a label.
A type is a mirror, not a label. It shows how someone tends to love, work or train, never who they have to be.
